Cristina Perez

Cristina comes to ReUp after working at Ellevation Education for four years, first as a Training Solutions Manager and then as a Data Engineer. Prior to working at Ellevation, Cristina spent 8 years as a Secondary English and Reading teacher in different schools across the state of Texas.

Cristina holds a Bachelor’s Degree in English from the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley and a Master’s Degree in Curriculum & Instruction with an emphasis on Reading from the University of Texas Arlington.

Born and raised in Zapata, TX, Cristina currently lives in San Antonio, TX. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her husband and family, cooking, reading, boxing, and walking her elderly, yet youthful pitbull/lab mix, Edna Mae.
