We are excited to share that ReUp Education has been selected to present with The Pennsylvania State System of Higher Education (the State System) at the 2020 SXSW Edu conference in Austin, Texas. SXSW Edu is an annual conference aimed at empowering the community to advance teaching and learning. Horn will be joined on stage by Sarah Bauder, Chief Transformation Officer at the State System, where they will discuss how to scale a statewide stopout solution.
8 Universities within the State System have teamed up with ReUp to bring students back to college. Investing in learners with some college credit without the earning power of a degree can create transformative outcomes for colleges, students, and local economies. Learn how the State System is partnering with ReUp Education to support this unique population at scale by leveraging predictive analytics, artificial intelligence, and personalized coaching.
Top 3 takeaways:
- Discover how the State System is using a collaborative system-wide approach to re-engage their stopouts to increase persistence and graduation rates for the entire system.
- You will learn how to engage stopout students so they are supported to reapply and re-enter higher education.
- You will learn how to help this unique student group persist and ultimately earn their degree.
We are especially proud to be one of the sessions selected through the conference’s public voting process. More than 1700 proposals were submitted this year with only 300 spots available. If you’re planning to attend SXSW Edu, make sure to add our session to your calendar.
