Students experiencing acute symptoms of mental illness while enrolled in college often need to take a medical leave from school to focus on clinical treatment. While medication and therapy can be important to someone’s clinical stability and well-being, there are other practical tools and resources students need to return to school successfully. This session will look at how higher ed institutions can provide more resources to their students on mental health medical leave and how to help them successfully return and graduate.
