LaTasha has worked in education for several years and held positions in which she was required to be proactive and foresee potential issues while also generating possible solutions. She recently held the position of a Grants Manager for a federally funded program that provided several opportunities for students to receive enhanced services such as academic enrichment, technology education programs, financial literacy etc. In this position, LaTasha worked closely with new and existing subgrantees throughout the state of South Carolina and was responsible for ensuring the success of their onboarding process.
LaTasha holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Experimental Psychology and an Educational Specialist Degree (Ed.S.) in Counselor Education from the University of South Carolina. She is also a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and has extensive experience working closely with college students and young adults dealing with various postsecondary-life issues. She currently resides in South Carolina with her husband, daughter, and son.
