Katie Mehin

Katie Mehin is a Certified Career Services Provider with more than 10 years of hands-on experience in Career and Technical Education and Higher Education. She is passionate about assisting individuals in achieving success through access to education and career opportunities.

For 7 years, as the founding Director of Career Services at a Career and Technical Education District in Arizona, Katie established the processes and procedures for implementing and collecting data on industry credentials, work-based learning, completer placement follow-up, and employer engagement. She also developed strategic partnerships to build and fulfill talent pipelines for 25 in-demand career fields in this role. Most recently, Katie worked for a VC-backed SaaS company supporting customers in sharing data with partner organizations to drive informed action through collaboration.

Katie, a first-generation college student, received her Bachelor of Science in Individualized Studies: Business & Marketing Education from Central Washington University and then continued her studies at the University of Arizona where she obtained her Master’s in Higher Education with an emphasis in Access & Success. While working at ITT Technical Institute Katie was able to earn her MBA.
