ReUp Education Featured on MPR to Discuss Partnership with Minnesota Colleges

ReUp Education has partnered with Minneapolis College, Saint Paul College, and Metro State University to address a unique challenge in Minnesota: nearly 600,000 residents have some college education but no credential. This partnership aims to help these learners overcome barriers and achieve their degrees, contributing to both personal growth and state workforce readiness.

According to Katy VanVliet, ReUp’s Senior Vice President of Learner Services, “ReUp’s role is to connect with learners, understand their needs, and provide tailored support to make their return seamless and successful.”

Through personalized coaching, high-touch outreach, and flexible solutions, ReUp ensures learners can balance education with life’s responsibilities. Greg Mellas, Dean of Liberal and Fine Arts at Saint Paul College, highlighted the program’s potential to not only re-enroll learners but also gather valuable insights to reduce future barriers.
