Austin, Texas – ReUp Education announces its official partnership with Robert Morris University in Pittsburgh to re-enroll students who have stopped out of school and to support them in earning a college degree.
ReUp and RMU are collaborating to engage the university’s stopout students and present them with the opportunity to re-enroll. ReUp will provide RMU students with tailored support to achieve their academic, professional, and personal goals. The effort will leverage ReUp’s revolutionary technology, millions of data points on stopout students, and personalized coaching and mentorship to help RMU re-enroll and retain students who have left without a degree.
“Robert Morris University is an institution that has distinguished itself for its high-quality academic programs, career preparation, and commitment to affordable pathways to degree completion,” said Kevin Hearn, vice president for enrollment management at RMU. “Consequently, we are excited to partner with ReUp in order to assist students returning to their programs of study and the attainment of their degree at RMU.”
Completing a college degree has profound impacts on social and economic mobility. Those with a degree are half as likely to be unemployed as those with a high school diploma. They also demonstrate significantly higher levels of happiness, health, and community involvement. As a result of the challenges and uncertainties of COVID-19, supporting students so that they can graduate from college is even more critical to their financial stability and social equity more broadly. RMU’s new partnership with ReUp will promote these individual and societal benefits of educational attainment by engaging and supporting the students who are most vulnerable to getting left behind.
