Yomaida is a student success professional who is passionate about learning and teaching in a variety of settings. As the first person in her family to graduate from college, one of her personal goals is to help guide other first-generation college students. When working with students, Yomaida strives to create an environment that is open, empathetic, and collaborative. She believes that helping students feel supported plays a critical role in their success.
She earned her Master’s Degree in Higher Education Administration at Florida International University. In her free time, she enjoys reading, practicing yoga, and spending time with her family.
