Rachael is a Virginia native. She received her Bachelor of Science in Biology from Radford University in 2009. While science was her first passion, she soon discovered that education was her true calling. For over 10 years Rachael has served in various roles supporting students as they pursue their own educational goal working with federal Department of Education TRiO programs to increase first-generation students’ post-secondary achievements. She has also worked as a Career Coach and Academic Advisor working with Financial Aid, Admissions, and Student Services departments in the Higher Education setting. She believes every individual has the ability to succeed and brings empathy and compassion in her service to students. With these experiences, Rachael is committed to aiding students in their educational journeys from start to finish with ReUp Education.
When she is not working with students, Rachael enjoys traveling and experiencing new cultures. She is a proud “pet parent” to her dog Morgan and cats Oscar and Anna. She is also active with her volunteer work serving her community through multiple organizations.
