Montana Kirby

Montana is a passionate educator who loves learning and meeting people in different settings. She graduated from Appalachian State University with a bachelor's of Business Administration and Management. Throughout her time at Appalachian State, she was an online learner. She advocated for herself and others to get access to the support and resources they need to graduate and pursue their career goals. Before ReUp Education, she was a business developer at a higher ed company where she gained essential skills to further enhance communication skills at every level.

She was a non-traditional student with goals to be an active listening coach to help students achieve their career and educational goals. She strives to provide open communication, collaboration, organization skills, and empathy and help students with a plan of action. She wants every student to walk out of a session feeling empowered and motivated to face the challenges ahead.

When she is not working, she enjoys reading, learning new things, hiking, doing yoga, spending time with family, and working as a board member of a non-profit called OneRare. She also has a pet cat named Panda and loves all animals.
